BRITISH BRIGADE, INC. SETS SEPTEMBER DATE FOR HUGE COLONIAL BATTLE EXHIBITION AND FESTIVAL AT GELSTON CASTLE ESTATE, JORDANVILLE, NY

JORDANVILLE, NY, December 22nd, 2008 – SAFFLYN CORPORATION, A GREEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, AND THE BRITISH BRIGADE, INC., A CHARTER OF THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW YORK STATE, ANNOUNCE AN INITIAL AGREEMENT FOR GELSTON CASTLE ESTATE TO SERVE AS THE SITE FOR A LARGE SCALE EXHIBITION OF COLONIAL BATTLE AND WEEKEND FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR THE SEPTEMBER 2009 WEEKEND OF THE 18th-20th.

“This program will be a major contribution to the education and promotion of Green living and the value of our American History.” Said Sylvin Douglas Lyn, President of Safflyn Corporation.

The production, which is scheduled for the weekend of the 18th – 20th of September 2009, calls for the conscription of more than 1,500 - 3,000 infantry soldiers on-site to be “battle ready”. British loyalists and Continental rebels will march into battle in the early afternoon on Saturday and Sunday. A conflagration of musket-fire and cannon-blasts will herald the entrance for a voluminous sea of black gun powder smoke overshadowing the Mohawk Valley from this mountainside exhibition.

Large groups of Sutlers, 18th century merchants and tradesman, will be arriving for the event on Friday the 18th and will reside on-site in a “Sutler Village”. A Colonial Festival will be the setting for the entire weekend.

“We are honored to have the expertise of Mr. Grenier and The British Brigade. They are going to be an instrumental group in developing physical demonstrations and examples of lifestyle and practices that show the historic roots of Green living. We believe this will be an important step in the Green future.” Said Jason Safford, CEO of Safflyn Corporation.

The event is one of several planned programs for the Gelston Castle Estate in 2009 and will be the culmination of many smaller programs on reenactment history lead by Mr. Jeffrey Tew, property manager for the Estate.

“We are prepared to deliver a spectacle of grand proportion. This demonstration will be worth attendance of the Queen of England, should she choose.” Said Mr. Grenier, Commander of The British Brigade.

Gelston Castle Estate is the historic residence for the families of 3 US Presidents - a private retreat for James Monroe, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Owned by Safflyn Corporation, it is being developed as a sustainable Green community.

Early registration to attend the event is available online at http://americanhistory.eventbrite.com
